Mark Boden
Recognised as one of the leading Flamenco guitarists in the UK, Mark Boden performs his interpretations of Flamenco pieces, and composes Flamenco music with modern elements in it, fusing it with Latin American, Jazz, Indian, Classical, Cuban, Blues and Rock.
Mark Boden has been playing the guitar for over 35 years, and teaching it for over 30 years in schools, privately and holding masterclasses/workshops. Mark performs in the North East, North Yorkshire and wider UK region in his group, Mark Boden's Flamenco con Fusion, and has performed at major music festivals and several times on BBC Radio Tees. Mark has worked with Flamenco dance teachers accompanying their classes and playing for their shows.
In this performance Mark will be accompanied by Flamenco guitarist Phil Philo.
